APRU DSC and APRU Enterprise Business Plan Competition - ECC APRU Doctoral Students Conference (DSC) Organised by APRU Doctoral Students Network (DSN) –a self-governed graduate student organisation Aims to bring doctoral students in the Pacific Rim together for intellectual and social interactions Papers presented address a range of topics grouped under an annual theme

APRU DSC and APRU Enterprise Business Plan Competition - ECC Extra Chapter Challenge (ECC) New initiative spearheaded by APRU Enterprise Coordinating Group (AECG) and APRU DSN A business plan competition to encourage doctoral students to create value from their graduate student research Open to doctoral students in any discipline at APRU universities Top 3 participants will win prize money of about US$ 20,000

APRU DSC and APRU Enterprise Business Plan Competition - ECC ECC Guidelines Must be doctoral students Business proposals must relate to dissertation research Students submit a 2 - 4 page proposal/letter of recommendation Each university to announce its selected ECC participants

APRU DSC and APRU Enterprise Business Plan Competition - ECC Recommended Financial Support for ECC About US$ 6,000 per student Covers a 4-month stipend, or one term, to work on the project Includes a travel award –covers airfare and registration fee to attend the final ECC competition in Singapore
