Yossef downloaded 115 songs. 100 of them were rock. The rest were hip-hop.
a. How many of Yossef’s songs were hip-hop?
b. 80 of his rock songs were oldies. How many rock songs were new?
Before showing the final animation on this slide have students work on the problem. Remind them that this is a two step problem.

The number bonds they want us to use are the breaking apart in the first steps. Make sure you call this a number bond.
