5 Before you register, be sure you have: A valid email address Course ID from your instructor A MyBCommLab access code, a credit card, or a PayPal account CXSCDSR-620902 Before you Register Example ID– Not active Course ID Example ID– Not active Course ID

6 1. Open the web page www.MyBCommLab.com www.MyBCommLab.com 2. Click the Student button under Register. Registering for MyBCommLab

7 3. Enter the Course ID provided by your instructor and click Go Registering for MyBCommLab

8 4. If you have an access code, click the appropriate button and you will be taken directly to the Access Information page. If you don’t have an access code, you can buy immediate access with a credit card or PayPal account. Registering for MyBCommLab

9 5. When you choose to buy access, you will need to choose the appropriate book and click Next Online Access Code Purchase for MyBCommLab

10 6.Choose to purchase with or without an eText and click Next Online Access Code Purchase for MyBCommLab

11 7. Review the License Agreement. Click “I Accept” to continue. Registering for MyBCommLab

12 8.On the Access Information page, you will be asked if you have a Pearson Education Account. Registering for MyBCommLab If so, click the Yes option. Enter your existing user name and password.

14 10. If you indicated you already had an access code, you will be prompted to enter your access code from the MyBCommLab Student Access Kit and click the Next button. Registering for MyBCommLab

16 12.In the School Location section, select the country in which your school is located. Enter your school’s zip or postal code. Select your school from the drop down list. 18 15. A Confirmation and Summary page displays, indicating your registration is successful! YOU ARE NOT DONE. You still need to enroll in your instructors course ID. 16. Although you are registered and logged in, you are only enrolled in a self-study course, so you will still need to enroll in your instructors course by clicking the Enroll in a Course and re-entering the Course ID 18. Click the Course Name to enter your Course! Enrolling in Your MyBCommLab Course NOTE: The next time you sign in to your account, you will be taken to a new account home page. You will be able to enter your course homepage by clicking on the MyBCommLab link under the Your Courses and Products area.
