4 MY GOAL To complete pharmacy tech program  and obtain a job with a reputable company and further my education. My ultimate goal is to become a registered nurse.

5 SHORT TERM  To be come a pharmacy technician  To assist in providing for my family  Utilize some of the income that I earn to provide a better education for my kids and use some of my income to help my grandparents

6 PROGRAM CHOICE  After finishing high school, I’ve developed an interest in the medical field and after attending college briefly to pursue a medical profession I was forced to abandoned my dream to take care my kids, but after successfully putting the last child in school, I decided to resume my education. My ability to adjust to any situation and love for medicine couple with my compassion for taking care of others which will allow me to thrive in this profession.

7 LIST OF PROFESSION & ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS  In order for me to obtain a job in pharmacy tech, I would have to finish my course in pharmacy tech and receive a diploma which is required by the agency I attend to work for.

8 TIME & MONEY MANAGEMENT  Mondays: 5-10p.m.- Go to School  Tuesdays: 12:30-3:00p.m.- Work on Homework  Wednesdays:5-10p.m.- Go to School 10:30-11:30 p.m.- Study  Thursdays: 1-4p.m.- Working and Reading for remainder of the day  Fridays: 8:30-10:00 p.m.- Reading and Studying  Saturday- 11:30- 2:00p.m.- Working and Reading for the remainder of the day  Sunday: 9a.m.-4:30pm- Go to the library, church, and do volunteer work

10 INTERVIEW QUESTIONS 1. What made you interested in becoming a pharmacist? Ans. I loved the salary, it was more money than I previously made at a bank job and this is a career. 2. What is the hardest part of your job? Ans. I can’t satisfy everyone all at the same time, for example some customers are impatient. 3. Would you recommend this job to some one else in the future? Ans. Of course I love my job, and I will someday retire from it.

11 INTERVIEW QUESTIONS CONTINUED… 4. At the beginning, was your job overwhelming? Ans. No, but it was definitely a lot harder in the beginning because I had to get used to new processes, but I had a patient employer and a supportive work team so, I learned quickly. 5. How many years have you been a pharmacist and has your salary increased? Ans. I have worked as a pharmacist for 11 years and 2 months. My salary increased to about $3,000.

12 INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE  This interview was very helpful because it informed me about the experience and the pay, which is extremely important to me. I can incorporate this information in my field of study because it will be useful because I plan to be a pharmacist tech.
