2. Warm-Up for April 14, 2015 Thesis Statement Workshop  Take out your thesis statement and find a partner.  With your partner, read your thesis statement.  Together, answer these questions:  1. Can someone disagree with my thesis statement? (If no, revise.)  2. Does the thesis statement include the author and play title? (If no, revise.)  3. What sub-claims fit underneath your umbrella thesis? Write these down. If you do not have a thesis statement, write one now.

3. Essay Outline  For your in class essay tomorrow on Wednesday, you may use your books, Records Journal, and essay outlines.  During class today, complete your essay outline to plan your argument and your essay.  Write your thesis statement in the introduction area and then skip to your body paragraphs and find evidence.  Whatever you do not finish today is homework.
