The methodology Tufts/IDMC study (complements the IDP Profiling Guidance) Non-emergency displacement situation Household survey based on a two-stage, random sample of the entire population of a designated urban area (Note: the survey does not target IDPs, nor ask for self- identification) Refined at the end of 2008 to address some shortcomings (census data, timeline, user-friendliness)
