In the morning we left at 7:45 and said good bye to our parents. Then we headed off to Sydney. We then arrived at Milton point and sat down for some morning tea we also saw the harbour bridge from underneath and the Sydney Opera House. Under the Harbour bridge The Opera House Seemed Very Busy from where we were standing

When we arrived at the Y we put our bags away in our rooms. some people were on floor 5 and floor 3. Then we set off to hide park for lunch. We stoped at Hyde park for some lunch by a amazing fountain. While we were eating lunch every one enjoyed the sight of the water feature and even the saint Mary's church.

In 1821 the saint Mary's chapel was open by governor Lachlan Macquarie. The first bishop was john Bede. In 1865 a fire ruined the cathedral. The building was completed 100 long years after the architect’s death. This church was dedicated to Mary help of all Christians. On the eighteenth of October they had a big ceremony for the one of Australia’s saints

In the art gallery there were thousands of different pictures and sculptures like portraits, landscapes and many other different artifacts. There isn't just art there is old Chinese cutlery and also weapons. Some of the stuff was over thousands of years old

After the art gallery we walked to the lower parliament house. At parliament house we met Greg piper our Mayor and independent member of Lake Macquarie and also Kristina Keneally NSW Premier of the lower house. We then enjoyed looking at a breath taking fountain while Mr Piper went to go get a photo of the out side of parliament house lit up at night. After Greg piper showed us the photo he said goodbye and left then we went in to the gallery. We watched question time I thought they were adults but I guess there not they were acting like children it was fun but most of the gallery dosed off.

We had a lot of fun listening to the guy playing the didgeridoo we got photos with him he was a very nice man. It was originally part of the commercial port of Sydney, including the Darling Harbor Railway Goods Yard. During the great depression, the eastern part of Darling Harbor (Balangao) became known as the hungry mile, a reference to the waterside workers searching for jobs along the wharves

The name Cadman’s Cottage comes from John Cadman, who also took up residence there in 1827. The building survived largely because of the constant Government ownership. First as a barracks, then Cadman's residence. From 1865-1970 The Sydney Sailors’ Home Trust. Restoration began in 1972 and the building is used now as an information centre by the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

At the IMAX we all watched Hubble 3D, we where all trying to grab the stars and swim in the pool. We were all laughing and pointing at the screen!!

For dinner we went to china town. Most people were still looking around after half an hour just to decide what to eat. We all enjoyed the nice drinks, food and we chose at the food court Someone looks hungry !!!

we finally arrived back at the hotel and had 20 minutes to visit other peoples room s and have a shower. Although the teachers said to go to bed everyone ended staying up it was really fun and majority of 5 6 stayed up later than 2:00am but the next day we deserved our punishments for disobeying the teachers ( Mr B ).

The teachers came around to our rooms to wake us up. We then got up and got dressed walked out and sat on the ground like the teachers said. That is when we got our punishments. Then went down to Brekkie. Everyone was discussing there punishments.

After brekkie we got our bags from our room and went to line up down stairs. Then we headed off to Hyde park. when we got there we had some morning tea. We then went for a tour around Hyde park Rainbow ponies

At Manly we went to the beach and had some lunch that was provided by the Y hotel. We got a popper, Sandwich, fruit & a piece of cake!! After that we went to Manly Corso shopping centre. There were heaps of shops including Smiggle, Diva, surf shops and plenty more!! Some shops we seen!!

The Ferry ride was fun but I think some people got sea sick because the boat was rocking side to side. Maddie also left her jumper on the Ferry. Mrs Weeks was chilling out with the girls.

Walking across the Harbour Bridge was a challenge to walk from one side to another because we had wind, rain, hail and shine but when we got to the bus it was sunny. While we were walking over the bridge some of our poncho’s blew off and over the edge of the bridge. By the end of the walk we were all drenched but still laughing. It’s coming

Tooronga Zoo were all children belong. After the big walk across the harbour bridge we finally got to sit down and have some dinner. We had sausage sandwiches, pasta and some cordial to drink. while sitting down four lovely ladies introduced them selves. They spilt us into two group one had dinner and the other went to the education room to look at some reptiles. The education was fun and although people were tired they were very excited for the walk in the education room we learnt about reptiles and about poaching WHEN THE BUYING STOPS THE KILLING WILL TWO. The walk was so exciting there were so much animals we got to see the Pigmy Hippo, the back side of a zebra, spider monkey, giraffes and plenty more

On the way home we all were very tired and exhausted from the big adventure through Sydney. We watched g-force most people were so tied that they fell asleep but then Mr B came through the bus and woke us all up but then they just fell back asleep.
