Poland is situated in central Europe, between the Baltic Sea in the north and the Carpathian Mountains in the south. The landscape of Poland is varied : the sea, mountains, lakes, the lowlands and the uplands. The area km² with population of more than 38 million. The beginning of Polish country dates back to 966 A. D. when the ruler Mieszko I accepted Christianity. In years 1772 – 1795 Polish land wad divided between three invaders: Prussia, Russia and Austria. In1918 Poland regain independance. In September 1939 Germany attacked Poland and the Second World War began. Poland has rich and long history, tradition and various valuable monuments signed up for The UNESCO World Heritage List.

Warszawa Warszawa – which for more than four hundred years has been the capital city - is the biggest city in Poland. The Warsaw coat of arms is charged with a mermaid. Warsaw is situated in the central-eastern part of the country, on the River Vistula. Warsaw is a big educational, cultural, political and economic centre. In Warsaw noteworthy is The Old City signed up for The UNESCO World Heritage List.

Kraków Kraków is the second biggest city in Poland. It is situated on the River Vistula. It is also one of the oldest cities with more than a thousand years history. There are valuable architecture buildings, a lot of institutions and cultural agendas which gather priceless monuments and relics. Until1795 Kraków was Polish capital, and till 1611 r. a residence of the Polish kings.

Tarnów is the city founded in the south of Poland; 80 km from Kraków and 300 km from the capital.
Two rivers, Biała and Dunajec, flow through the city. The city is situated at the base of the Saint Martin’s Mountain, which is 384 m high. The city was founded in King Władysław Lokietek grat city charter. Today population of Tarnów is around 114 thousand. There is a theatre, museum, cinemas, parks and squares. Mainly electrical machinery and chemical industry develope in here.
