Customer Smart Account Account where smart account enabled products are deposited. Licenses can be managed by customer directly, channel partner, or authorized party. Who needs this: All customers, and Channel Partners purchasing products for their own use Holding Smart Account Account where partners / distributors can temporarily deposit orders until the end customer smart account is identified. Cisco Confidential What’s Changing: Creating B2B Orders Here is a what has changed when placing smart enabled B2B Orders: Set Default Holding Account in CCW Place an Order Through B2B If the B2B order is assigned to your Holding Smart Account, the B2B user must re-assign the order to a Customer Smart Account in CCW. You need to set the default holding account in CCW Profile and Preferences, so the order isn’t put on hold when placed through B2B system. You can add fields to their XML forms allowing you to enter smart account information directly when placing order from your end. Create a Holding Account in CSW You must create a Holding Account before placing an order through the B2B system. Assign Customer Smart Account Post-Order Submission Place order through the B2B system.

Cisco Confidential B2B Ordering Before Incorporating Smart Account Changes into B2B System After Incorporating Smart Account Changes into B2B System All orders placed through B2B system will be automatically assigned to the default Holding Smart Account designated in CCW. Afterward, move the order to the Customer Smart Account in CCW If Default Holding Smart Account isn’t designated in CCW, order is placed on hold until smart account is created and assigned. Assign order directly to a specific Holding Smart account or Customer Smart Account. Only need to go to CCW to move the order if it was originally assigned to a Holding Smart Account If Smart Account information is missing or invalid, order will be assigned to the default holding account designated in CCW. If Default Holding Smart Account isn’t designated in CCW, order is placed on hold until smart account is created and assigned.

Cisco Confidential What’s Changing: Setting Up Holding Accounts One-time Setup Steps for B2B Smart Product Ordering Set Default Holding Account in CCW You can set the default holding account in CCW Profile and Preferences, so the order, when placed through B2B system, isn’t put on hold. In the Orders tab, click Assign Smart Accounts. In the dialog box, search or request account and click Assign. Cisco Confidential B2B Ordering Scenarios Partners Customer Partner B2B ordering requires 1 additional step to ensure the customer receives their licenses. Once Smart Account functionality is enabled on B2B system, this extra step is only needed when the end customer isn’t known at time of purchase or Smart Account entered is missing or invalid. Place order through B2B system. Order will be assigned to Default Holding account Move order from Holding Account to Customer Smart Account B2B Scenario 1: Simple Resale B2B Scenario 2: Resale with Lifecycle Management Place order through B2B system. Cisco Confidential CCW When are Licenses Available in Smart Accounts Assuming the order was placed successfully without any holds and the Smart Accounts have been created: In order booked status and onward: Order will show up in the Partner Holding Account shortly after the Order gets into Booked status, and you can re-assign to Customer Smart Account.. Assigned to Holding Account In order shipped status: Licenses will show up in the End Customer Smart Account 24- 48 hours after the Order had moved into Shipped status Assigned to End Customer Smart Account

Cisco Confidential What’s Changing: Assigning Smart Accounts Here is how you assign an order from Holding Account to Customer Smart Account post-order, so that customers can consume their licenses: Search for Orders without a Customer Smart Account Change Smart Account Assignment You must change the order assignment from a Holding Smart Account to a Customer Smart Account in CCW. Search for orders that are not yet assigned to a Customer Smart Account. Check for Email Notification You will receive a reminder email notifying that the order needs to be moved from your holding account and assigned to a Customer Smart Account.

In the email received, customer will need to click To View Your Smart Licenses. This will take them to CSSM, where they will view licenses and register them to a device. If the licenses are Classic / PAK licenses, it will say Register Claim Certificates (PAKs) instead 11 1

Cisco Confidential What’s New: Customizing Smart Account Experience Here is a how you can customize the Smart Account experience in CCW – one-time actions: Save Search Save search to easily search for orders that need to be assigned to a Customer Smart Account. Add Customer Smart Account Assignment status to Search Add the Customer Smart Account Assignment status column to search results to view whether the orders is assigned to a Customer Smart Account already.

Cisco Confidential Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) Export Compliance Considerations 1 2 3 A small segment of government and military entities located in countries outside the EU License-Free zone will be unable to activate export controlled features in Smart-enabled products due to export compliance issues. Manual business processes are in place to identify customers in restricted countries and then to review their orders to ensure that non-approved products are not included. If non-approved products are found, customers will be redirected to substitute traditionally-licensed products with similar functionality. When the order is shipped confirmed, then the licenses will be provisioned to the specified Smart Account. Enables partner to include the Virtual Account Name of the Smart Account in the payload. If both the Smart and Virtual Accounts are included, then the licenses will be provisioned to the Smart and Virtual Accounts. Enables partner to include the Holding Account Domain ID at the header. Line assignment will take precedence over Header. If Line and Header are assigned to different end customer Smart Accounts, then the line will be assign based upon the Account Domain ID at the line level. Header assignment will only cascade to lines when the Smart Account is Null (unassigned). Line assignment will take precedence over Header.
