4. What to look for? Why is the website online? Is the website well-known? Is the information sensible? Is the information up-to-date? Do the pictures look real? What does the web address tell us?

5. The website address. www.amazon.co.uk The domain name tells us the name of the website. This tells us the type of website. In this case it means it’s a company or business This tells us which country the website is from

6. Hockley Research: Search for information about Hockley on the internet. Fill out the table to say what you found and where you found it. You need at least 5 information sources. Write at least 3 bullet points about how you can tell websites are reliable and valid.

7. Hockley Information Leaflet: Use Microsoft Publisher to create the leaflet. Must contain information about Hockley. Must contain a map Must contain pictures

8. Homework: If you wish to, take some digital photographs of Hockley to use in your leaflet and bring them to next lesson. Due: Friday 28 th January 2011
