If the IP-UMS system interworks with digital phone and analog phone of OfficeServ, MGI module is required for the gateway function and the numbers of IP- UMS channels are determined within the numbers of MGI channels OfficeServ IP-UMS supports OfficeServ 100, OfficeServ 500, OfficeServ 7200, and OfficeServ 7400. IP- UMS Server provides voice mailbox, auto attendant function, E-mail server interface function and IP-Fax server function. Interworking with E-mail Server By interfacing with E-mail server, you can construct the integrated messaging system by interworking voice messages(including fax messages) and E-mail message. Above all, the interface with MS Outlook enables IP-UMS to embrace the existing Outlook users. Therefore, the existing E-mail users can use IP-UMS without hesitation. Built-in TTS (Text to Speech) engine provides the function to convert a text to a voice. In addition, you can convert a entered text to a voice file as a system prompt and listen to the title or the text of a message arrived through an E-mail after making access via a digital phone or an analog phone.

Since IP-UMS supports the search and the configuration about administrator functions and user functions on the Web, the administrators and the users with a specific class can configure and search IP-UMS functions after making access to the Web. For instance, you can check the voice message arrived to your voice mailbox on the web without digital phone or analog phone access.

This allows the System Administrator to immediately put a single port or group of ports in a specific mode.
