3 Public Hearing for an Ordinance temporarily reducing the Law Enforcement, Fire Rescue Services, Roads, Schools, Parks and Recreation Impact Fees Purpose

4 On March 29, 2011 the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved: 25% Reduction of Impact Fees Effective for 18 months or until Fee is updated Consult with Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) concerning the School Impact Fee Background

5 Background (cont.) Definition: Impact Fees are one-time assessments charged by local governments to new development to fund a proportionate share of capital improvements attributed to that development.
