Skills Development ICT Curriculum for Primary, Secondary School, and Teacher training is in place 3 Institutions, 3 Universities and 5 colleges that offer ICT training programmes & specialized IT courses in CISCO, ICDL, IT Essentials, etc 2525 (~4% ) students enrolled in various colleges and Universities are studying ICT

Mobile/Internet Technology There are 7 mobile phone operators and 37 application service operators By mid 2009 mobile phone subscribers would reach 13 million (26% population penetration level) – use: financial transactions, NECTA/Univ reports, etc Internet usage: demand is high but limited by high connectivity cost and lack of reliable power mainly in rural areas
