Did You Note Well? Individuals who participates are “Contributors” You participate if you: –Edit a draft –Co-author a draft –Present at a meeting –Speak at the microphone –Send an email to an IETF list –Jabber in an IESG jabber room –Speak at a virtual interim meeting –Etc. The responsibilities are your own personal responsibilities –You cannot hide behind your company or their processes If you know of your IPR or you company’s IPR that is material to a WG’s work either ensure a timely disclosure or don’t participate. Read RFC 3979 and ask an AD Some WG chairs are checking about IPR at key times

L3VPN Update 5 I-Ds been published as RFCs (6513- 6517) after long hold on RFC Editor Q Much discussion on mailing list about “to close or not to close” Seems to be energy in the community to complete some of the open drafts Many thanks to the chairs who hung on longer than they were comfortable The plan is for two new chairs –Announcement soon
