Terms Stroke- Total movement of piston from it’s upper-most point to it’s bottom-most movement. Stroke- Total movement of piston from it’s upper-most point to it’s bottom-most movement. Top dead center (TDC) –The upper-most point of piston movement. Top dead center (TDC) –The upper-most point of piston movement. Bottom dead center (BDC)- The bottom-most point of piston movement.
