How do we, therefore, need to live?
5
One: You need to understand that the Bible is of divine origin. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2 Tim 3:16). “Prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit” (2 Pet 1:21). You know that to be the truth.
6
Two: Don’t be angry when someone preaches truth from Scripture. Ahab threw Miaiah into prison (1 Ki 22:24-28). David: “I have sinned against the LORD” (2 Sam 12:13). Let us strive to be like David!
7
Three: Understand that God’s way is best. “The L ORD commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the L ORD our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day” (Deut 6:24). “Keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good” (Deut 10:13). “He who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does” (Js 1:25). Obedience is far better than disobedience!

Four: Throw off every man-made tradition. So many care about their traditions. But, the one gospel is from God. Tradition destroys that gospel from God (Matt 15:1-6). We need to check what we believe & hear that we don’t fall prey to tradition.
