2 Learning Together in Dundee Innovative Teachers VIRTUAL CLASSROOM TOUR Background/ Rationale Web Links About At Dens Road we has previously been involved in a Project to use ICT toys to aid transition from Nursery to P1. This gave us the opportunity to experiment with the BeeBot and found that the children were extremely enthusiastic about learning with it. We decided to try using the BeeBot as a tool for supporting children’s learning throughout the curriculum. In this Project the children were learning about Number 6. The Learning Intentions and Success Criteria were discussed with the children over a few lessons. They had an introductory lesson before using the BeeBot. We then used the BeeBot as a way of reinforcing the learning that had already taken place. Later you will see a video which shows the excitement and enthusiasm with which they take part in the lesson. BeeBots
