Learning Objectives… To understand what the different assessment tools are called at Pitcheroak To understand that assessment will look different for students depending on their age To understand how the school uses assessment set progress targets

Early Years (4+ years) Early Years (4+ years) Students are assessed using profiles in the Reception Year. Students that are in the department who are in Key Stage 1 are assessed against the B Squared descriptors for P Levels.

Key Stage 1-3 (5+ years) Key Stage 1-3 (5+ years) Students in Key Stages 1-3 are assessed against the B Squared descriptors

Key Stage 4 – Post 16 (14+ years) Key Stage 4 – Post 16 (14+ years) Students in Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 are assessed against their accredited pathway and gain qualifications that are externally verified.
