Bonus Points Student can earn bonus points toward their grade by: Leading Stretching The instructor will select a student that is prepared for class and has reached their fitness development grade to lead the class through stretching. A student will receive five points toward their wellness grade each time they lead stretching. Extra Credit Articles Extra credit will be added to a student's grade two weeks before the end of the quarter. Each extra credit article will elevate a student's grade 5 points (not five percentage points) closer to the total possible points for the quarter. There is a limit to the number of percentage points a student can earn via extra credit work. Student can either elevate their grade to an eighty-five percent or add a total of ten percentage points to their grade. This will be determined by the method that has the greatest impact on the student's grade. To earn extra credit points, a student must select an article from the newspaper that deals with a health topic (nutrition, sex education, drugs, diseases, genetics, fitness, etc). The individual must then write two paragraphs about the article, the first summarizing the articles and the second giving the person's reaction. Link to Main Page Link to Main Page
