We will be principally studying communication within the Christian faith but also making links to similarities and differences in communication within different faith groups. Numeracy We are focusing on times tables facts. Year 5 pupils should know all facts up to the 12 x table as well as corresponding division facts (i.e. 7 x 9 = 63 therefore 63 / 9 = 7). Mathletics Every Monday our homework is to score a minimum of 1,000 points on the Mathletics website which will earn each pupil a certificate. We will be studying Charles Dickens as a significant author and prominent member of Victorian society. We will also be studying the language and themes contained within Dickens’ classic text.
