3. RODEO: 'HOE-DOWN’  Aaron studied composition in France.  The piece was originally composed for a ballet, which premiered in 1942 and is still danced today, but was later arranged in an orchestral suite.

5. THE STORY OF HOE-DOWN  The story is based on tomboyish cow-girl trying to get attention from men at the Saturday Night Dance. She gets invited to dance by a roper and wrangler. She chooses the roper and the music Hoe-Down captures the drama.
