Was born 26. of April, 1564, and died 23. of April, 1616. In 1582 Shakespeare married the eight year- older Anne Hathaway. They had three children, Susanna, Hamnet and He is one of the greatest writer that the English world, perhaps the entier world has ever seen. He is known for his dramatic tragedies, like Romeo and Juliet and Hamlet, but also for some of the funniest comedies that has been performed on a English stage.

His work We can separate his dramatic work into four different periods. In the period from 1589 1594, he wrote historical plays, about English history. Richard III and King Henrik VI is examples of plays from this period. Shakespeare had moral values like honesty, curage, trust and pitty in his work. Shakespeare was also very good to use olf sources, like Saxo Grammaticus Gesta Danorum.
