5 Students who are involved are: ➢ Generally more successful in school ➢ More invested because they feel like they are a part of something ➢ Take pride in their school ➢ Have more positive interactions with faculty and staff

6 ➢ Help to create a school culture that is more upbeat and positive ➢ Have real life experiences that may even help with career selection ➢ Have an awesome element to add to a resume Hall Latin Club

7 What’s your attitude about joining a club or team? Being in a club will give me the opportunity to really get to know other students who share my interest- OR I think it’s really awkward to join a club. I won’t know anyone and other people will judge me- Let’s talk about it:

12 How do I balance school work and extra curricular activities?? You have more things going on, so you have to prioritize and schedule efficiently. Procrastination is less likely to occur with a structured schedule. Why do it: Keep your grades up to participate in sports Learning time management at an early age will stay with you throughout your life! How to do it: STAY ORGANIZED! Use a calendar/agenda to manage your time Self-discipline : what motivates you?
