Students who are involved are: ➢ Generally more successful in school ➢ More invested because they feel like they are a part of something ➢ Take pride in their school ➢ Have more positive interactions with faculty and staff

Being part of a team or club provides many lessons that you can use beyond high school. How do I balance school work and extra curricular activities?? You have more things going on, so you have to prioritize and schedule efficiently. Procrastination is less likely to occur with a structured schedule. Why do it: Keep your grades up to participate in sports Learning time management at an early age will stay with you throughout your life! How to do it: STAY ORGANIZED! Use a calendar/agenda to manage your time Self-discipline : what motivates you?
