12. All of our majors can be taken with a “thesis option.” This is a three-credit course in your Senior year and a thesis of your work in a faculty lab is produced.

14. Many students choose a “co-op option” where they work for three semesters on or off campus in a scientific job.

16. Our undergraduates have their own student organization, the Physics Club, which is involved in various academic, outreach/service, and social events.

18. Physics majors are the second highest scoring major on the MCAT, the standardized admissions exam for medical school.
