7 Reoccurring Areas of Safety Exposure/Vulnerability (cont) 62% of operators had 1 or more preventable collisions in the previous 3 year period 27 out of 42 operators were considered veteran operators (4 or more years with the organization) 10 operators were terminated 8 received some sort of remedial training 14 received no remedial training 10 cases no information for preventability or remediation was provided 5 of the 42 accidents were determined non- preventable by the member

9 IRM Priorities Some members received more or less attention due to: Experience rating adjustments Extra assessment on the assessment for adverse loss experience … those that received extra assessment were given more attention / those with large credits were given less Fixed route cases meeting certain criteria (pedestrian losses) Goal of at least one loss review for every member
