What makes a good performance assessment? Aligned to standards Authentic/Real World scenario Gives students choices/options Opportunity to explain/discuss/do Collaboration and/or present Multiple correct answers or multiple ways to determine answers Getting the right answer not the goal--its the journey. A vehicle for learning, not necessarily the culmination of what has been learned.

Defaults on students loans highest in 20 years (10%). Senior Citizens alone owe 18 billion in student loans. Can you afford to go to college? How will you pay for it. In this task, you will find your college of choice, determine the annual costs, and calculate the college loans you will incur.
