9. Climate, geography and population England has a temperate maritime climate meaning that it is mild with temperatures not much lower than 0 °C in winter and not much higher than 32 °C in summer. The weather is subject to change. We can understand everything that the geography is dominated by rugged hills and low mountains. With over 51 million inhabitants, England is by far the most populous country of the United Kingdom, accounting for 84% of the combined total.

13. Food Fish and chips is a widely consumed part of English cuisine. Apple pie has been consumed in England since the Middle Ages.
