7 New to ICANN community OR engaged at some level but not fully participating Limited ability to attend ICANN meetings without support Citizen of low, lower-middle or upper-middle income economy as determined by World Bank Citizen of SIDS (small island developing states) classified as developing and least developed by United Nations Who is eligible?

8 Successful applicants demonstrate: Ability to use experience to become future leader Role or interest in Internet Interest in contributing to: ICANN policy development ICANN security and stability / DNS operations Fellowship alumni network Stimulating local interest in ICANN Joining Supporting Organization, Advisory Committee or Stakeholder Group Online Application

10 Diverse, rotating Independent panel evaluates all applications against criteria Preference given to those meeting minimum requirements and from region ICANN meeting is held in About 25 Fellowships are awarded for each of ICANN’s International meetings Selection Process
