HISTORY – A GLIMPSE First club formed on March 13, 1968 – Rotaract Club of University of North California, USA First Club in India – Rotaract Club of Secunderabad – Chartered in March 1968 Rotaract Club of Ambarnath, chartered in 1968, is the oldest club in 3140

AVENUES The Community Service improves the community by assessing its social needs and providing them, helping its disadvantaged members & increasing awareness about vital issues such as Differently able children, Social Issues, health, cleanliness, etc… The Club Service is responsible for retaining currents members and attracting new ones by organizing various fun activities for the club members such as camping, dinners, karaoke night, etc…These activities help the members to interact together & motivates them to keep going and always do their best!

AVENUES The Professional Development develops the business and communication skills of the club members as well as the community members. This could be done by hosting speakers or organizing workshops. The International Service initiates projects that promote its country and create better friendship with the international community such as a trip to explore the hosting club’s country. The International Service Avenue organizes mega events like MUNA (Model United Nations Assembly), IDYE’s and IYE’s

How Does it Function… The Rotaract year begins on the 1 st July and ends on the 30 th June of next Year.

The President who is the Representative of the organization is announced 6 months in advance so that he can Plan in advance and Organise his team to work with.

He then performs the task of Staffing by selecting and placing them in his team as Board of Directors. Then he Motivates his team and Directs them assigning them profiles.

Further he Coordinates with them and by Supervision and regular meetings Controls the work. President performs the task of Decision Making and ensures Innovation and regular flow of Communication which helps regulation of Job assigned and coordinates the activities
