Water is one of the most vital things on Earth- without it, nothing would survive for very long! Pretty much everything needs a bit of water. Home Introduction to water!

Condensation: When a gas transforms into a liquid. *It means the opposite of evaporation. * Water vapour in the air condenses into water droplets. Home Condensation

Precipitation: When lots of little droplets of water form a bigger droplet, then rain falls from the sky! *They can make you very wet! Home Precipitation

Transpiration: When a plant sucks up water from the soil. The water travels up the stem then it finds its way to the leaves. *Water droplets evaporate from the leaves. Home Transpiration

Infiltration: When rain soaks into the ground and into the soil. *The water soaks into the ground and makes it damp. Home Infilitration Infiltration

Evaporation: When a liquid turns into a gas! *When things evaporate, they were a liquid but are now a gas. *The opposite of condensation. *Water evaporates into water vapour. Home Evaporation

Run Off: When water runs off the surface of a hill / mountain and falls into a lake, river, pond, etc. * There is a clue in the name! Home Run Off
