5. The Conveners of the Task Force The Healthy People Curriculum Task Force was established in 2002 as a joint project of the Association of the Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine (ATPM) and the Association of Academic Health Centers (AHC)

13. Curriculum Framework- Curriculum Naming Clinical Prevention and Population Health This name has been agreed upon by the Task Force and should be used to identify this curriculum. It is designed to indicate: z Individual clinically oriented prevention often incorporated in the term Health Promotion- Disease Prevention or Clinical Prevention z Population oriented prevention increasingly incorporated in the term population health.

25. Undergraduate Public Health z Task Force has endorsed IOM recommendation that: …all undergraduate have access to education in public health. Task Force will convene a Consensus Conference with ASPH, ATPM, and Council of Colleges of Arts and Sciences (CCAS)

Undergraduate Public Health z Consensus Conference will examine recommendations for teaching: Public Health 101- an introductory course with a population health focus designed to fulfill a social science distribution requirement Epidemiology 101- an introductory course that includes an epidemiology laboratory designed to fulfill a science distribution requirement
