Learning styles describes ways in which a person learns. Knowing your learning style will help you identify your strengths. Knowing your learning style gives you an indication of how to improve your learning. Personally, it has helped me to really understand who I am.

Visual Learners learn through seeing. Auditory Learners learn through hearing. Kinetic Learners learn through doing.

Memletic is based on two words. Memory and Athletics It’s goal is to help improve memory and learning Each style in the inventory can get a score of 1 – 20 A score of 20 indicates the style that one uses most often.

Style Scores Visual13 Social20 Physical13 Aural17 Verbal12 Solitary14 Logical15 According to the Memletic learning styles inventory, I am mostly a social learner. This score is followed closely by aural and logical. I compare fairly equal in the visual, physical, solitary and verbal learning styles.

Score of 1-3 means you are fairly well balanced on the two dimension scale. Score of 5-7 means a moderate preference for that dimension Score of 9-11 means a very strong preference for that dimension

Active and Reflective dimension: I have a moderate preference for doing something active while learning Sensing and Intuitive dimension: I am fairly balanced. I learn by facts, discovering possibilities and relationships. Visual and Verbal dimension: I have a moderate preference of seeing pictures, graphs and flow charts. Sequential and Global dimension: I am fairly balanced. I like having the big picture, but I also want to take it step by step.

Organize assignments on a time line in order of due date Work out consistent study schedule Use social skills to create study groups Find connections to the real world to topics I am learning Find diagrams that relate to course material Study overall goals and then break into small tasks
