IMPACTED WATERSHED CONSERVATION EASEMENTS Conservation easements are typically aimed at preserving working lands and natural areas threatened by development Conserving open space is one of the best way to maintain water quality Conserves critical habitat, wildlife corridors, and allows for climate change adaptation and species diversity Easements funded by IRWM will protect critical waterways and watersheds in Mariposa County Goals: 1, 3, 4, 6, 9
