Cooking is a fun activity for kids (and adults)! Cooking is calming to most people. Cooking is what you can do to feed your family if you don’t want to buy your food from a store (but you have to buy the materials from a store for more info about materials look on chapter 4.) Cooking is a good thing to make breakfast, lunch and dinner. Oops, almost forgot desserts! Do you like desserts like brownies, cake, cookies and my favorite cupcakes? Just to recap, cooking is something you can do to feed your family.

If you do not know what cooking is, here is your guide. Cooking is a fun-filled activity for parents and kids. Have you ever wanted to make your own kind of snack or meal? Maybe you will want to make your own kind of dessert like a cheese cupcake (a cheesecake, but it is formed in a cupcake). You could also make basics like brownies, cake, cookies and cupcakes. For more info on recipes and ideas, look on the bonus chapter.

Cooking and crafting are different in some ways. Cooking is making food, but crafting is making art. Cooking and crafting are also the same in some ways. They both are activities, or they could both be your hobby or job. If you want more comparisons, look on Chapter 6!

Cooking is when you make food. Cooking is breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Making food is cooking. Crafting is when you make art. Crafting is painting, drawing, and more. Painting is crafting.

If you thought that cooking is something that you do not need any materials for, then you are wrong!! Cooking can be a very difficult activity that many people have to do! Now, let’s move on to the materials. If you are doing a kind of dessert like cookies, cake, cupcakes etc., you will need a large wooden/rubber spoon. You will also need a small, medium or large bowl. It depends on how many you would like to make (unless it is a cake).
10
You have to be very careful if your cooking. For example, if you are making a soufflé, you need to be careful with the oven. You might burn yourself by accidently putting your hand on the oven. Or, if you are making a waffle you might place your hand on where the waffle batter will go, but accidently put your hand in it and press it down and yell “OOOOOOOWWWWWWW!!!!!! I BURNT MY HAND!!!!!”
