6 Summary of the research throughout the traditional cuisine. Among local dishes we found 4 the most attractive ones:

7 LOCAL DISHES Steamed noodles (Polish: Buchty) served baked with butter and juice. Shortcake (Polish: Skubaniec) served baked with forest fruits.

8 LOCAL DISHES Cream dessert (Polish: Szpajza) served with chocolate, cacao or lemon juice. (Polish: Bytomskie kamyki) baked with honey and aromatic herbs.

12 Dąbrowa’s charcoals a recipe created by us with ingredients typical of regional cakes of our Zagłebie region, but in a new form that is a reminiscent of the nuggets of coal extracted in the area.

13 Recipe for 12 muffins 1/2 cup of granulated sugar 1/2 cup (1 stick) of unsalted melted butter, 1/4 cup of whole milk 1 large egg 1 1/2 cup of flour 2 teaspoon of instant coffee 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon of salt 3 ounces of milk chocolate, cut in small pieces 3 ounces of bittersweet chocolate, cut in small pieces

14 Recipe for 12 muffins Heat the oven to 350F. Spray a muffin form with cooking spray. In a medium bowl mix sugar, butter, coffee, milk and eggs. In another medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and salt. Make a well in the middle of the bowl and gently add in the mixture. Stir gently and put the chocolate. Fill each muffin form about three quarters full and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cupcake comes out clean. Once cooked, move muffins to a cooking rack. The muffins can be stored in an air tight container for up to two days. Enjoy and good appetite!
