1 Mary Condes BANANA BREAD RECIPE

2  3/4 c sugar  1/2 c margarine (1 stick)  2 eggs  1 1/2 c smashed bananas (4-6)  1 tsp vanilla  1 c shredded bran cereal  1 1/2 c flour  2 tsp baking powder  1/2 tsp salt  1/2 tsp baking soda INGREDIENTS

3  Preheat oven to 350°F  In one bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and set aside  Mash bananas in separate bowl  Soften margarine and mix with sugar until creamy  Add 2 eggs, mashed bananas and vanilla, mix  Add shredded bran cereal, mix, then let sit 5 minutes  While sitting, grease pan with margarine and add flour, shake and dump excess flour  Add flour mixture to bowl and mix, place in pan and then oven  Bake 55-70 min (check after 55, keep checking with toothpick)  Cool for 10 min, take out of pan and cool on cooling rack DIRECTIONS
