WE FILL BUCKETS!! Part of our CREEKSIDE culture is “Bucket Filling”. When you are kind and helpful you fill someone’s internal bucket. When you do something unkind, you empty their bucket (as well as your own). Many growth and learning opportunities in terms of behavior. We will fill our classroom bucket with “warm and fuzzy” feelings! We are also a “Leader in Me” school. We practice the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Leadership Skills. You can find more information about this Creekside Philosophy on our school website!
26
Volunteering Parent volunteers working with students will begin after the first few weeks of school, as I want to foster independence and an “I Can Do It” attitude first. –Parent volunteers may work in the work room during these first weeks on prep work. –More “job specific” information/sign up opportunities can be found in your paperwork today, and more opportunities will be presented on a need basis.
27
