In Moot Court a proposition is based on- (a) Civil Case- in this parties are Plaintiff and defendant and involves legal issues (b) Appeal- here parties are Appellant and Respondent (b) Criminal Case- in this parties are State vs. Union and charges are framed.

For success in moot court, mooter should pay special attention to the following: i) Preparation of case Remember important Points Latest Case Law ii) Preparation of arguments Knowledge of Pleadings Knowledge of Law Knowledge of Latest Case Law/Amendments Remember critical points of the Case

Submission of memorials is 15 to 20 days prior to the dates of competition.
Memorials must contain the following :
(a) Cover page / Cause title.
(b) Index.
(c) Index of Authorities.
(d) Statement of Jurisdiction.
(e) Synopsis of Facts.
(f) Summary of Arguments.
(g) Arguments / Pleadings.
(h) Conclusion / Prayer.
