6 Procedure for Moot Court
In Moot Court a proposition is based on- (a) Civil Case- in this parties are Plaintiff and defendant and involves legal issues (b) Appeal- here parties are Appellant and Respondent (b) Criminal Case- in this parties are State vs. Union and charges are framed.

7 Factors for Success For success in moot court, mooter should pay special attention to the following: i) Preparation of case Remember important Points Latest Case Law ii) Preparation of arguments Knowledge of Pleadings Knowledge of Law Knowledge of Latest Case Law/Amendments Remember critical points of the Case

Conducting Moot Court Moot court is conducted at - College level - Inter-college - Intra-college Regional level National and International level

9 Competition open for 3 and 5 year Law students.
Rules for National M.C Eligibility criteria & team code- Competition open for 3 and 5 year Law students. Team of 3 members (Speaker1, Speaker2, Researcher) Arguments in English only

10 MEMORIAL Submission of memorials is 15 to 20 days prior to the dates of competition. Memorials must contain the following : (a) Cover page / Cause title. (b) Index. (c) Index of Authorities. (d) Statement of Jurisdiction. (e) Synopsis of Facts. (f) Summary of Arguments. (g) Arguments / Pleadings. (h) Conclusion / Prayer.

12 Dress Code- (i) Females: white salwar kurta & Dupatta or white shirt and black trousers along with black coat and tie. (ii) Males: white shirt, black trousers, black tie along with black coat and black shoes.

13 COMPETITION ROUNDS & ORAL SUBMISSION
1) Preliminary round- Arguments from both side. 2) Quarter Final- Argument from one side only. 3) Semi Finals/Finals- Argument from one side only.
