7 2004-2005 Financial Information 2004-2005 was a record breaking year financially for SCHSRA. We awarded $11,000.00 in college scholarships. We awarded $32,647.00 in awards and prizes. We awarded $41,500.00 to the National Team for travel money. We gave back $6,781.00 in ad sales payback.

8 2004-2005 Financial Information SCHSRA gave $91,928.00 back to its contestants.

9 Assets Gained in 2004-2005 Purchased a 1997 Freightliner. Featherlight Flat-bed trailer donated. Purchased two new laptops. New call-in program.

10 GOALS for 2005-2006 Continue to improve communication. Apply for more grant money. (Bucking chutes and bob-cat) Search out more sponsorships. Improve recruiting efforts.

12 REMEMBER…… You must make call-in for the rodeos. Call in is usually the Monday before the rodeo from 7:00 – 10:00. SCHSRA does NOT accept late call-ins. YOU are responsible for making call-in. Western attire rule is in effect ONE hour before rodeo. You must remain in attire during slack performances. NO contestant should ever speak to a judge in the arena. You must follow channels outlined in your rule book. Seniors are required to help with extra fundraising efforts to qualify for a scholarship. All contestants are required to sell $100.00 in ads for the state finals. Usually due at the Abbeville Rodeo in the spring. SCHSRA does NOT allow profanity from any contestant in or out of the arena.

13 IMPORTANT DATES: Next Saturday– Workday and Pool Party at Leonard Caldwell’s house in Camden. (9 am) Call-in for Laurens is Monday (Aug. 15) and Tuesday (Aug.16). Two day/Two go Laurens rodeo August 19 th and 20 th. Directions: I-385 to Exit 5 Laurens Hwy 49. Turn south on Hwy 49 toward Laurens. Go to the first traffic light (Hwy. 221) turn left onto Hwy. 221. Go to first traffic light (Eckerd's on corner) turn left onto Fleming St. Go about three miles and look for Pete's Building Supply (green building) on the left. The Laurens City Park drive is on right across from Pete's Building Supply. We will have a sign at the Park entrance October 1 st - First Fundraiser – Trail Ride in McBee, SC
