Scholarships and Bursaries Scholarships –GPA 3.5 –Completed 12 Douglas Credits –Winter application Bursaries –GPA 2.0 –Based on financial need –Fall, Winter and Summer applications –On-line applications are open for one month at the beginning of each semester under Financial Aid on the Douglas website.

Student Loans and Grants Needs Based Programs Full-time –9 or more academic credits –On-line application at www.studentaidbc.cawww.studentaidbc.ca –Loan and grant Part-time –3 to 8.5 academic credits –Paper application –Loan and grant ABESAP –ENGU, MATU and ESL courses –Paper application –Grant

Emergency Loans Emergency loans may be available to students who experience unusual delays in receiving their student loan funding

Fee Deferrals Fee deferrals are available to students who have been approved for student loan funding Allows payment past fee payment deadline while waiting for student loan funding to arrive
