Be very patient with their learning needs/styles. Remember they learn by doing; its the nature of nursing. And dont forget these are not just bothersome nursing students (or nurses who are going back to school who are computer phobic. These are the nurses who will be in power in your organization and they have long memories of your helpfulness when they were beginning their careers. At least it has been a winning strategy in our hospitals. Also when I get sick, I want smart nurses taking care of me!
