2. Framed Math Artwork Choose your favorite math quote
Write it on an index card (side without lines) ~ this is your Math Artwork.
The index card measures x by y inches.
The frame for the artwork measures x + 2 inches by y + 1 inches
Frame your art work by carefully cutting out a hole in the frame into which you can mount your artwork. Do not overlap the artwork and the frame.
On the lined side of the index card, determine the perimeter of the artwork and the frame. Also, determine the area of the artwork and the frame. Write neatly.
