4 1.PSYCHOLOGY-It is a science that seeks to measure, explain and sometimes change the behaviour of humans. It studies every thing related to human beings like what motivates individuals,how learning takes place,how personality development occurs. SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY is a branch of Psychology which studies the behaviour of people in groups like competetion,cooperation,aggressiveness, attitudes etc.

5 2. SOCIOLOGY-Sociology is the study of people in relation to their fellow beings. Sociologists study group behaviour,various social groups, structure of society etc.It helps in greater understanding and contributes to group and team dynamics, interpersonal conflicts, organisation culture etc.

6 3.ANTHROPOLOGY-Antropology is the study of man,his historical background and origin. It is a study of civilisations,culture and different societies. Every culture is unique and comprises of customs, traditions and values. These cultural factors influence the behaviour of people at work place as well.

7 4.POLITICAL SCIENCE-Political Science is a systematic study of Political Organisation,Political bodies like various types of government,legal provisions etc.It is the study of individual and group behaviour in a political environment.The political conditions of country influences the Organizational Behaviour.The government policies and programmes influence the working of organisation and thereby behaviour of people at workplace.
