Mobile supply chain applications overview
Oracle Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA) enables the user to perform a variety of manufacturing application transactions, without using a desktop computer. You can use MSCA with the majority of Oracle’s suite of manufacturing modules, including Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS). This figure illustrates how MSCA integrates with Oracle’s manufacturing modules. The example also shows just a few of the many transactions that you can perform using MSCA. Oracle Mobile Supply Chain applications enable users to perform many common warehouse and shop floor transactions through hand-held radio frequency devices, personal digital assistants and truck-mounted radio frequency scanners. Transactions can be carried out on these wireless devices at the point of use, offering real time transaction processing, improved data accuracy and increased mobility and convenience. Oracle Mobile Supply Chain is part of the Oracle E-Business Suite, an integrated set of business applications that delivers complete process automation and complete information. Whether you implement one module at a time, multiple modules, or the complete suite, Oracle E-Business suite helps you make more informed decisions and improve your business operations-while reducing expenses.

MOBILE SUPPLY CHAIN APPLICATIONS KEYBOARD FEATURES
Oracle Mobile Supply Chain Applications (MSCA) includes multiple commands that are accessed by function keys and control action buttons. Psion has taken the most commonly used action keys and created a keyboard designed for ease of navigation for the end user. For example, to perform the action of List of Values, the user would have to press the ‘CTRL’ key and then the ‘L’ key on a unit. On the OMNII™ for Oracle keyboard, the end user simply presses the ‘LV’ key. All key mapping is done in the background, thus creating a meaningful key sequence for the end user.
