Daily Target I will be better prepared for my finals and have a plan to proceed AGENDA 1.Do Now 2.Preparing for College 3.Calendar 4.Reflection HOMEWORK/PRACTICE: Study or Read for at least 10 minutes in your area of concern.

SLEEEEEEEP the night before!!!! 8 hours! GET TO SCHOOL EARLY TO GET THE SPECIAL BREAKFAST PROVIDED IN THE CAFETERIA (NOT THE REGULAR BREAKFAST) Take your time! Read the questions fully! HAVE A POSTIVE ATTITUDE! Don’t get frustrated, breath, move on, come back to it. STRETCH! TAKE BREATHING BREAKS, FINISH STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!

Early Students will get a special breakfast of a Muffin, Fruit, and real Fruit Juice to power your brain to be ready to take on the EOC in the HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WORLD!

The Martin Luther King Jr. Assembly will be this Friday EOC make up testing for Math and Science will be this Tuesday and Thursday. This is a GRADUATION REQUIRMENT. Be there! Seniors-Share all acceptances and year 13 plans with your councilors AND seminar teachers!

Use the worksheet to plan out the next two weeks. Include: Projects EOC testing Studying for finals Work backwards from the finals you listed in the “Do Now” to determine what to do each day to be FULLY prepared to ACE your FINALS! Trade with your elbow partner and review each other’s plan – does it seem reasonable? Doable? Suggestions for improvement?

Write an exit note on a ½ sheet of paper 1. What support do you need from your classmates this week in seminar to be successful for finals? 2. What do you need to do this week to keep yourself on track? 3. How can your seminar teacher support you this week?

False Highlighting your notes is the best way to prepare for a test (Find a way to engage your brain more, even underlining will help more than highlighting – what other options do you know?) 3. True&False Your friends don’t help when it comes to getting ready for finals (Ask yourself these questions: are my friends taking the same class? Do they help me concentrate? Do they ask me to justify or reason when we study? ) 4. True : What you eat on Monday effects your test on Friday (Your brain needs good food all week to learn, process, and retain information for a test on Friday) 5. False: Cumulative finals cover one chapter (Cumulative means EVERYTHING covered so far this year)
