Background for Project When going into Marketing there are many different areas that one can specialize in. There is the creative standpoint which deals with making and creating the ads There is the account management side which involves decisions and planning on where/how to advertise. This area also is involved in Marketing Events- often referred to as Event Planning
11
The Assignment You are doing to plan a fundraising event surrounding Super Bowl. The decisions you make are yours. You need A plan (overview) Including who are you raising money for and why How many people will attend? How did you come up with this number? A partner/Sponsor A location Food Giveaways You must give REAL examples (this example does NOT give the details for this) Costs Projections on what will be raised from this event. You need to use real costs when possible. If you cannot find the real cost of something (like the cost to rent your location), see Mrs. Ferris for the price to use You need a resource page You need to remember this is a FAMILY event and cannot have alcohol.
