6. Kaunas Palemonas Secondary School – one of the centers of cultural life of Palemonas society We keep in touch with Lithuanian poetess S.Neris’ museum, Palemonas library, Palemonas community center, church and cloister which are not far from our school. S.Neris’ museumPalemonas church

7. International projects: We had three Comenius projects: “Folklore and cultural traditions in Lithuania and Basque country: myths, legends, songs, dances, sports…” (2004-2005)

10. Language teaching traditions Our pupils start learning a foreign language in the second form. We teach English, German, Russian and Italian. We organize different language contests not only at our school but in the city too. Every year our students become laureates of Lithuanians translation contest.

11. Ethno cultural traditions: We have ethno cultural after school activities Our school has folklore ensemble “Bitula” and the ensemble of national dances. We celebrate traditional Lithuanian festivals

22. The pupils’ Seym Voluntary organization for students from 7 till 12 class. This year there are 27 member in it. Activities aims:  Interaction and collaboration training between organization members.  To organize after school events for the students at school (about 12 different events in school year)  Helping for school administration in solving different problems.  Communication between this type organizations at Kaunas Secondary schools and gymnasiums.
