WASC site visit WASC Visiting team at SCU Oct. 20 - 22, 2009 Visiting Team will – Interview key individuals – Hold meetings with key groups Team is seeking to – Verify information in report and exhibits – Clarify areas that are confusing – Explore matters of institutional focus – Probe about areas of concern – Learn about climate and culture

Visiting Team and FSC Visiting Team will meet with FSC representatives – Separate meetings with other faculty leaders, administrators, staff, students, etc. When? – Wednesday October 21, 2009 – Probable time: 3:30 – Locations TBD

Meetings with Visiting Team Meetings may take several forms – Straight Q & A – Mini questionnaires – Fishbowls – Observation of regular meeting process Typical format – two members of visiting team meet with groups of 8 - 12 faculty Meetings last about 45 minutes Visiting Team will also hold open meetings for all faculty – no administrators invited WASC will establish confidential email account for comments
