4 EgyptAir in Brief EgyptAir is the national Flag Carrier of Egypt & dominant leader in the Egyptian market with a strong Brand. 100 % State owned since its establishment in 1932 EgyptAir was the 7th carrier in the world. EgyptAir was the 1st carrier in the Middle East & Africa. Is Self finance status without any government subsidy. Sole designated carrier in about 110 Egyptian BASAs. Egypt as destination is a strong product ( Tourism, Business, Population 78 M, GDP 5.7%). 4

EgyptAir Maintenance Company obtained the EASA 145. EgyptAir Training Center obtained the EASA 147 , Type Rating Training Organization (TRTO) in accordance with the EU JAR-FCL1 & all the FFS are approved by the ECAA and French DGAC. The center has become a member of the ICAO TRAINAIR Program

EgyptAir became one of the best Airline to achieve “on time performance” Sales through the internet and call centre are growing EgyptAir Plus frequent flyer program introduced in 2001 and was upgraded using Crane Software by HITT in 2006. On-line ticket sales introduced e-ticketing service has been launched completed for the domestic sales offices as well as all the agents and 95% of the network was established in May 2007.
