The Frappuccino Fiasco: What are the shareholders’ (Starbucks) interests? What are the teenagers’ (Public) interests? In the eyes of the corporation’s, who/what are the teenagers? In the eyes of the public? Is the public’s interest bad for business?

Field Trip! We will examine how Starbucks markets to three demographic groups: – Adults (25-40+) – Young Adults (18-24) – Kids/Teens (13-17) At Starbucks, write down examples of products, ads, branding, etc. that might appeal to these different groups – Look at the store’s layout – how might the organization of the store attract people?
